Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences announces the appointment of Almando Rigby as General Manager, effective June 15, 2026. Rigby brings more than 20 years of progressive experience leading ultra-luxury resorts across the Caribbean.
Rigby most recently served as Executive Assistant Manager at Rock House Resort, part of the Grace Bay Resorts portfolio in Turks and Caicos. In this role, he led more than 145 colleagues across six key divisions, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Engineering, Finance, and Sales & Marketing.
Previously, Rigby was Director of Rooms with Grace Bay Resorts, where he upheld Forbes-level service standards across all guest touchpoints. His earlier career spans senior roles in resort operations and retail management, where he developed a strong expertise in financial management, team leadership, and daily operations.
As General Manager of Windjammer Landing, Rigby will oversee all aspects of resort operations, focusing on strengthening performance, driving revenue, and enhancing the overall guest experience. He will lead all departments to ensure consistent service standards, operational efficiency, and a seamless delivery across the resort.

Rigby holds a Certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategic Management. He is a certified speaker, coach, and trainer with expertise in team building.

Rigby’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Windjammer Landing following an extensive $40 million renovation and the addition of La Belle Hélène, an ultra-exclusive ten-bedroom estate set in the UNESCO-protected region of Soufrière.
