The following is a press release from The Eastern Caribbean Collective Organisation for Music Rights (ECCO):
The Eastern Caribbean Collective Organisation for Music Rights (ECCO) Inc. is pleased to announce that its 2025 Annual Report is now available for public access on the organisation’s website. The release follows a successful Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, during which a new Board of Directors was constituted to guide the organisation’s strategic direction.
The 2025 Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of ECCO’s operations, licensing activities, royalty distributions, and audited financial statements, reflecting the organisation’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency. As a collective management organisation (CMO), ECCO represents songwriters, composers, and music publishers across six Eastern Caribbean territories: Antigua and Barbuda, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Through reciprocal agreements with CMOs worldwide, ECCO ensures that its members receive fair remuneration for the public performance, broadcasting, online streaming, and mechanical reproduction of their musical works.
The 2025 reporting period marked significant milestones for the organisation, including the two largest royalty distributions to music creators in ECCO’s history. The report also highlights continued progress in reducing administrative deductions and improving reporting accuracy, as well as the successful implementation of WIPO Connect for royalty distribution.
