According to the statement, the newly constituted board comprises individuals with “diverse professional backgrounds, extensive experience, and a shared commitment to strengthening healthcare governance and advancing the institution’s development.”
“We are committed to working collaboratively with the hospital’s leadership and staff to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery, in line with the evolving healthcare needs of the people of Saint Lucia,” the chairman said.
The newly announced Board of Directors includes Michael Willius as chairman and Kentry Frederick as deputy chairman. Other members are Nicholas Jean Baptiste, Ruth Regis-Adesanya, Anne Margaret Henry, Dale Louis, George Victorin and Isaac Mathurin.
Willius said the board looks forward to working closely with stakeholders “as we strive to strengthen St. Jude Hospital for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
