The following is a press release from the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA):
The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) is actively participating in the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s (CTO) Caribbean Week 2026 in New York, joining regional tourism leaders, policymakers, airlines, travel advisors, media, investors, and industry stakeholders in advancing the future of Caribbean tourism.
The Saint Lucian delegation is led by Chief Executive Officer Louis E. A. Lewis and includes Dexter Percil, Director of Global Marketing; Anya Whitfield, Chief Financial Officer; Jennifer Maguire, USA PR Lead; and Francesca Commisso, Business Development Manager at Trove.
Held under the theme “One Caribbean: Infinite Experiences,” Caribbean Week serves as one of the region’s premier tourism industry platforms, providing opportunities to strengthen partnerships, influence key decision-makers, generate exposure and position the Caribbean collectively while highlighting the unique attributes of individual destinations.
Throughout the week, Saint Lucia is showcasing its diverse tourism offerings, with discussions focused on air connectivity, destination development, culture, festivals, and hidden gems.
The delegation has engaged in strategic meetings, networking sessions, and media forums to strengthen relationships with key travel trade, airline, media, and tourism partners in a vital source market.
A highlight includes Dexter Percil’s participation in a marketing leadership panel exploring regional trends, innovation, and strategies for Caribbean tourism growth.
Saint Lucia will further boost its global visibility through its partnership with the New York Yankees, one of the most iconic brands in world sport. On June 3, the destination will host an in-stadium activation and take over 100+ screens at Yankee Stadium during a live MLB broadcast, reaching millions of viewers worldwide.
CEO Louis E. A. Lewis noted that Caribbean Week is a key platform for strengthening relationships, promoting the destination, and keeping Saint Lucia competitive in the global tourism landscape.
The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority remains focused on leveraging strategic partnerships, marketing initiatives, and regional collaboration to drive sustainable tourism growth and continue to position Saint Lucia as a leading Caribbean destination.
